MojuKai Martial Arts
Traditional Karate & Self-Defense

What We Offer
We offer Traditional Japanese Karate.
We are the only karate school in the area that teaches traditional karate. What that means is what we teach is directly connected and can be traced back to when karate first started. Look at our History page for more of information on this.
We offer a variety of classes, all teaching the same things, but a little different based on the age group.
We teach a skill set of punches, blocks, kicks of course, but we also teach self control, self awareness, focus, and self discipline.
Through Karate we teach most of all, how to be a better person.
Being better is specific to each person who comes to MojuKai, but even in a general way, everyone can take something we teach and apply it to their karate and their life.

Yoku Naru
We strive to help people succeed in every way.
After every class, we say two words, Yoku Naru.
Yoku Naru means "Be Better."
Be better at what? The question comes up often, and the answers we usually will get is "at karate", "at school", "at everything!"
What if you you could be better at life? Be better in relationships? Be better in the way you listen to people, or the way to talk to your parents, or how you treat your friends?
What creates that, how do you become better?
How far can you take that question?
Kids are brilliant, and they learn to understand deep life questions, we use karate to teach them how to answer those questions.
As Adults we have a responsibility to teach this, to everyone, adult or child. Some will /have never hear this until they come to MojuKai. Thanks why to us, Yoku Naru is a big deal.
